The Nutcracker Ballet

We spent the past weekend in Salt Lake City enjoying some family time and especially a performance of The Nutcracker Ballet!  This was a tradition in Mama's family, as her (Great) Aunt Mim used to take her and her cousins when they were little girls.  Mama was so excited to carry on that special experience with us!  Daddy was less than thrilled at being dragged to the ballet, but he did survive to attend again next year ;)!  After the performance we got to attend the Sugar Plum Party, which they did not have when Mama was little - it was so cool!  We got to meet a few of the ballerinas and have tea and cakes with them.  There was also a magician that nearly stole the show.  It was so much fun!
