Thus you shall go to the stars.

This week(+) has been heavy with joy (abundant photographic evidence on Facebook and Instagram) but also with deep sadness.  Heaven gained such a sassy, artistic, kind, and courageous little angel this past week.  Madeleine left this world a better place, and showed "kids" of all ages what perseverance and optimism really are.  She had more fight in her than most of us have to find in a lifetime, and she battled with grace.  I place her and her family firmly on my list of heroes, even though they are too humble and have been through too much to want that title.  Love permeated her entire life from long before she was born and it will propel her legacy, so I am thankful for that and that she is now free of pain and in peace.
