We left off during our California trip, didn't we? We hadn't gotten to the best part yet... we got a B-I-G surprise after Carlsbad and San Diego. Mama and Daddy took us up to Anaheim and into DISNEYLAND!! Of course we didn't know that's where we were until the morning after we arrived. We stayed at the Marriott right by the entrance, and they did everything in their power to make sure we didn't know we were in for Disney time! It worked: we walked up to the park entrance and were totally amazed at where we were - the shock still hadn't worn off when we got our second big surprise: GRANDMA DEBDEB!! She came over from Arizona for the weekend, and came up to spend a whole day with us in Disney! We were thrilled!! It was a wonderful trip with LOTS of character interactions (seriously, SO SO SO MANY!!!!!) and we've decided we really like surprises!
Adelaide got to dance with Woody, jump with Jessie, chat with Tinkerbell and the fairies, speak french with Belle, talk to real live Lightening and Mater, pose "fierce" with Stormtroopers, and best of all Merida promised to be best friends forever with her! I was a little more weary of everyone except Rosetta fairy, and Buzz (...they were my faaaavorites), but I drove the race cars and giant tires like a champ!
